This proposal is written in response to the call HORIZON2020-2014-1 – TEAMING. Specifically, it addresses the topic WIDESPREAD 1-2014: TEAMING of the Horizon 2020 Work Programme 2014-2015 – Part 15: ‘Spreading excellence and widening participation’.
In line with the scope of the call topic, TEMARA aims to team two parties: a leading institution of research and innovation excellence (NLR) and a new research agency at national level, the National Aerospace Centre (NAC) with the intention to establishing the latter as a Centre of Excellence.
The publication of Legal Notice (LN68/2014) for the setting up of the NAC as a Government Agency, demonstrates the commitment and strong ambition of the Government of Malta to encourage and support research and innovation within the aerospace industry.
